Accommodation in Gerês  – Close to Caniçada, waterfalls and Alqueirao Fluvial Beach

Gerês, contrary to what many think, is not just a summer destination. Its landscapes among forests, mountains, villages, beautiful roads, villages, waterfalls and river, come to life as each season of the year wears its clothes with a palette of colors so perfect that it always inspires us, in a different way.

The last time in Gerês as a family, it was a real remedy for soul and heart after confinement 2020/2021. We were presented in the spring with birdsong, green and soft paintings of flowers of the most diverse colors. 

With maximum temperatures of 18 and minimum of 8 degrees, in April, we chose to stay in a tourist complex of Suites and houses with access to a heated pool, and not only… With access to a large green area, with outdoor pools, spaces for picnics, children’s playground, sports courts, and a long and beautiful path bordering a waterfall that leads to a pier from where it is possible to practice sports such as kayaking and SUP.

Theres also option of houses inside the complex for ( 4 people or 6 people), and there’s an Open Swimming Pool, small trails, kids playground, picnic area and Restaurant with River View.
